Mr Jason Robertson

Jason Robertson is a NZ trained general surgeon specialising in Upper Gastrointestinal, Bariatric (weightloss surgery), and Laparoscopic surgeries. After completing his advanced training in general surgery, he undertook additional specialisation through the esteemed post-fellowship programme of the Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association (AANZGOSA), dedicating three years to intensive upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery training across Australia and New Zealand.

Collaborating with leading experts in the field, Jason developed a broad range of skills in the treatment of obesity, weight loss, upper gastrointestinal cancer, and acid-reflux disease. He is distinguished as New Zealand's sole surgeon to offer the complete array of internationally recognised bariatric operations, including the SADI-S. With a comprehensive support team, Jason employs a personalised strategy to assist patients in selecting the best surgical option for their weight loss journey. Jason consults on Auckland's North Shore and in West Auckland, and operates at Southern Cross North Harbour and Laparoscopy Auckland in Epsom.
